I know i still don't belong here but i feel left out at tri2 and im lucky if i get 1 reply!
any way i went for my MW appointment today and had a vaginal swab as i suspected having an infection.tmi yellowish discharge with no itching or burning . but once she entered the swab thingy i felt a burning sensation which was more like a knife entering there!!
i screamed she said its ok i want to take as much swab as possible then when i got back home every time i pee it burns like hell like the knife feeling i explained  what could be wrong?? all of this happened today so im hoping things will get better

maybe it is a simple infection and you'll have the results back soon hun   the burning when you wee sounds like cystitis so make sure you drink plenty of water to flush out your system while you're waiting for results to come back. I know also it can hurt when you have swabs done, I had a smear done once which hurt like that I also bled. I dont usually with smears but that time just hurt like hell...

See how you feel tommorrow, dont panic for now  If it still hurts in the morning then call your doc and go see them for reassurance xx

Well having a vaginal swab should not really affect you passing urine I don't think. Chances are you may just have CM thats slightly yellowish in colour. Or maybe its a little bit of urine leaking also. I'd not panic yet.

And ditto what Tilly said. Sometimes swabs can be painful, especially if you are tensed up.

With regards to now having a burning sensation when you wee, get a urine sample in the morning when you get up and drop it off at your GP's surgery and ask if it can be tested for a possible UTI. If you do have a bladder/urine infection that should soon tell them so they can treat it.

And with regards to people not replying to you, I have replied to quite a number of your posts in the past :) Happy to do so. I am never sure if you ever read the threads as often you yourself don't comment back on anything in the thread so its sometimes hard to know if what is being offered in reply has helped or is needed etc. I am not saying that to be mean or cause upset, just as an observation. Sometimes feedback on the feedback is good so as people can see if they have been of help etc.

hopefully they'll find out what's wrong and give you something to make it better! If you're still having problems then make sure you go back :)
xx

Feedback is always good. Even if its just a quick comment it at least lets people know you've read what has been said. I find on forums that conversing with people in threads I've started is usually a positive thing and builds a rapport with others. And of course you join in well in convos posted by others :)

:) Good to know things are better for you today. I'd think if you've no burning pain this morning then that side of things will be fine. Probably just needed to settle down after your swab was all.

And looking forward to seeing you here in a couple of days :cheer:
