has anyone tried the ovusense monitor?

I’m toying with buying one when AF gets me tomorrow.

I’m worried im not ovulating or have progesterone issues - this tracks all of that so would mean I have something to show my doctor if that is the case.

There’s a 20% off code just now too and I figure I’m spending money on opks etc anyway so really the expense isn’t that big.

Anyone got any experience of it? X

Hi rainbow, my cycles went all over the place after my losses and I bought an OvuSense, I found it easier and more reliable than temping as you don’t have to wake up the same time each day or anything like that. I used it for 3 cycles in total as I had my bfp on the 3rd cycle. My scans also confirmed baby was measuring in line with when OvuSense said I ovulated. There’s a good support network on Facebook for OvuSense users too and you can email their fertility nurse Kate with any questions. Xx

Thanks Lucy! I think I’m definitely going to buy one, temping won’t work for me, I have a 3 year old so I can’t guarantee waking at the same time etc. Congratulations on your BFP x

I ordered it with the discount code and just took the 2 months prescription as will have my FET in about 2 months and then if no luck with just get another few months prescription before I start the 2nd cycle ivf.

I would like to hope this showed us diff days than the opks, maybe we have just been missing the best fertile days but I don't think opks could be wrong and I get my period 2 weeks after the pos opk but I am now at the point I will try anything that's left that I haven't tried which isn't much. If we are unexplained then still a chance for a wee miracle

I haven’t ordered yet but will do today. I can’t decide on either the year or 2 months. I won’t get help until around October if I don’t get pregnant before so maybe the year might be better for me.

Said arrives in about 4 days time.

Its called ovusense users group I think... Just has lots of ppl using it and you can get help with understanding your charts etc.

Yeah thing is with paying for 1 year is you have paid for that and you might not need it but yeah if you do end up needing it then it saves you money.

I've heard alot of ppl ttc for years then this worked 3 months later? I just think no point in me getting 1 year at the moment with having 2 frozen embryos and another 2 cycles of Ivf but you nornally have 2 or 3 months between transfers so I would just be subscribing for 2 or 3 months at a time until my ivf was done. Hoping I have better luck with my next transfer but this is something to also give me hope Inbetween.

We are going to transfer the 2 embryos this time so would need to start a whole new cycle if this failed .

I do have a child but I sometimes think she’s just been a sheer luck one off, I’ve had testing done but they’ve just said all my mc’s have been bad luck which I find hard to believe. We have different stories but we both just need to be brave and keep going I guess x

I’m the same. I’m on a miscarriage one on Facebook and, although it’s good to be able to post my thoughts, constantly reading about miscarriages can be a bit much. I guess you only hear from the ones struggling as the ones who aren’t generally aren’t posting in these groups x

Mine arrived today ! Not sure when I will set it all up as can't use it till next cycle as already ovulated this cycle. Have you set it up

I’ve not set it up yet, I’m only on CD4 so need to wait until AF ends. I’m a bit nervous about using it!
