Ovulation tests?

ive never tested for ovulation before but after my period arriving 8 days late this month I want to start!

I know nothing about how to. So any info would be useful!

Does anyone use these?

I bought these exact ones in July. First time I ever tested and worked thought they didn't as cheap then got my positive on CD15 but I had to use fmu and on that day I saw it getting darker and tried again couple hours later and blazing positive then tried few hours later and started to get lighter I had such a short peak but did get my bfp that month and dtd 3 days before and day after the peak. I personally wouldn't order these ones again they are only 20miu, the best ones are 10miu. They are the pink strip ones.

I've used these ones when trying for my son. You use these in the afternoon if my memory serves me right. When the second line started to get darker I used to use 2 a day, on mid afternoon and another early evening 'just in case' I missed the positive. I'd like to say I found them pretty helpful as I got pregnant rather quickly using them, but that could equally be a coincidence. It made me feel like I was doing something useful though.

Honestly id go with the clear blue opk that’s digital. It’s worked for me both pregnancies

Yeah I've looked into it, you can get 10miu or 20miu. I brought these ones this cycle but usually use the pick strip once and they seemed to pick it up stronger. That's when I started looking into the sensitivity of them xx

The one step ovulation strips can come in 20,30 or 40 miu but I don't mind the normal ones are 20miu. For ovulation I don't want them too sensitive as then it's easier to see surge. I used these in July first time ever and saw surge dtd next morning and got my bfp that month. Going to use these ones again next few months to see if ovulate after mmc. I have also got the ones that OP attached a photo of.
I will carry on using these as they work perfectly for me.
I was using CB digi but its just too much money x

Yeah I have these ones. I kept my last batch from July. Remember I thought I was CD13 always and then thought I wasn't ovulating then got my positive CD15. The only diff I know they say don't use morn I just don't want to hold for hours so did the morning one and an evening one without 4 hour hold, on CD14 night saw it getting darker and the next morning so that day did one around 9.30-10 smu and got the blazing positive then did it again around 1.30-2 and already started to go down. My surge is so short so happy I did it 3 times that day. I know everyone's surge is diff. I just couldn't afford to use expensive ones too much. I attached my July one.. Good luck all xx

Thank you all so much for your responses! They’ve not arrived yet! I’m on CD4 just now! When do you guys normally start testing? CD10? I’ve opted for cheap too! Need to pinch the pennies xxx
