Ovulation tests

This is my second month using ovulation tests just IC and yesterday I took one at 1.00pm in the afternoon and it was a faint line witch I knew was neg but then took one at 6.00 pm and it was so much darker it wasn't darker than the control line but so anyway I took one at 1.00pm today and it's defiantly negitive I'm only cycle day 9 could I have ovulated? Or what not sure what to think need some advise.

It's possible you did, I ovulate around day 9 or 10 but its also possible you didnt that month - that also happens.

Those cheap ones are a nightmare Ive had clear positives on them and then negative on the same wee sample from a clear blue digital one!! whats girl to do...

You get to know yourself when you ovulate, use the sticks as a guide.

Opks just detect the amount of hormone (which is up and down) and the surge before ov. If the line wasn't as dark or darker than the control line then it wasn't positive so it doesn't matter if it then went lighter later on. That being said it is also possible to ov early! If I were you I'd persevere with them, paying attention to other signs as jezby suggests. How long are your cycles?

Thank you! Well I think I acctully may have ovulated yesterday! These are my tests and yesterday I had very bad cramping to one side was really uncomfortable so maybe ovulation pains? But does this mean I've ovulated yesterday considering this mornings was neg and that I'm now 1dpo or am I still due to ovulate soo many questions 😂Thank you for replying xx

The line doesnt have to be darker than the test line. As long as it's a surge then that's likely gonna start ovulation.

I hadn't noticed your post was a few days old sorry! Yeah that looks like a pos to me on the 22nd and yeah they sound like ov pains, so I'd count today as 1dpo too. Good luck!
