ovulation pains

i had the darkest line on opks on friday and have af like pains last night and this morning

Can you get af like pains when your ovulating?

I have been looking this up lately - is it one sided pains or all over?
I understand if they are too one side , eg one ovary then when the egg leaves the ovary it causes these cramping pains, if general all over af style pains, I guess it could be your body preparing itself for the eggs arrival.

its low band at the bottom of my stomach but i have had sharp pain on one side x

I have heard of ovulation pains (which are quite sharp and near your kidneys) and ovulation cramps (which feel a bit like af cramps). Hope you getting lots of in !!!!!
