out of hospital part 2

only lasted one nigh a home last time- got readmitted

thy now say its pre-eclampsia. blood pressure finally under control with meythldopa and lobetamol, blood levels starting to change so may have to go on some more medication next week (not sure what yet). swelling has gone down as well so thats good

blood sugars still not quite under control so think my insulin will be put up again

had a horrible night on fri as they were worried about the babys ctg trace, basically spent all night being monitored, doctors deciding whether to give me steroids for baby, but this is not stright-forward as i am on insulin. when the day doctors came on they were not worried about baby so decided i didnt need the steroids. just happy baby is still nice and comfy in there!

back on day unit on tues. suspect i may end up back in at some point on the ward in the near future but cannot complain about level of care and monitoring i am receiving and am very happy baby is being well looked after.

at same time, very happy to be home!
