Out and about in bad weather :-(

It was windy and torrential rain, I'm trying to hold the door of the car open, hold the trolley and get the car seat out and it was impossible . The trolley kept blowing away everytime I let go of it . Got annoyed in the end so got her out her seat and stuck her under my arm as only needed a couple of bits. I looked like a drowned rat in Tesco .

Any tips on how not to get as drenched next time?

Thinking about it what I should have done was put her in the sling (which I had left at home anyway ) while I was still sat in the car.

The sling would have been my answer. It's what i do anyway and always have a spare brolly in the car

In ours the baby ones all have a brake, the car park goes uphill and I was amazed when I first noticed this! Now I just shop online it's much more pleasant!!!
