Our Last month!

So we as a couple decided yesterday that is is our lost month to try for a sticky Bean.
We've gone through so much loss over the last 2 years that we both feel we cant carry on much longer.
Yesterday we went to a adoption meeting, and have decided to register for adoption.
Im currently ovulating so we will give it one more go this month and if it doesn't work, were going to adopt.
For once I'm excited and happy about the future.
Im going keep checking back on you ladies though
Hopefully ill get some help from you when our new family member arrives!

Thats great...did they say how long you'd have to wait? My friend adopted 2 sisters and theyre really happy! Kids seem very settled too.

We've also been discussing our long term goal if things don't go our way and we are both very open to the idea of adoption. Hope it all goes well for you.

Well they say You should ideally start the matching process within 6 months! Which is crazy!
Obviously We've been ready for this for a long time, so the sooner the better, but also we've waited a long time already so a few more months really won't hurt.

Yes thats a tricky one but maybe long term ttc fertility issues as this is where conversations about potential adoption might take place? There are a few ladies already talking about it on the forum x

Just wanted to say that I am really happy for you. I think adoption is amazing and we will be looking into it too. I would love to adopt as well as having biological children. It is an amazing and precious thing to consider doing. If we can't conceive naturally, we'll skip IVF and go straight to adoption, and hopefully adopt anyway even with our own kids.

Children are all precious.

I had a friend that had tried for her own for years, eventually adopted but a couple of years later conceived as well.
Apparently it often happens.
