Ouch!!! My back!!

God does my lower back hurt!!!
Been on and off for the last 3 weeks but today it really hurts!!!
Only way to get it to go is a warm bath. Can I use Ralgex or deep Heat??
Anyone had this and how long will it last?????
Got first MW appt tomorrow so really excited!!

I got lower back pain n all hun but mine is from my last pregnancy when i had two steroid injections and the last one the nurse caught my sciatic nerve - and its hurtin now.
I dunno if those preperations are safe but was gonna suggest you ask the midwife bout complementary practicioners in your area cos i reckon some reiki would help ease the pain.
As for how long it lasts.. dunno... tis why i reckon u shud look at some pain management now (am a reiki practicioner so am doing my own back every night and keeping on top of it plus bf has magic hands which helps enormously!)

I'm getting bad back pain as well. Let me know what your midwife says. I am seeing mine for the first time tomorrow as well so we can compare notes. I am sure she is going to say it has something to do with lifting my little boy who is over 20lbs!

I've had back ache over the last couple of days too.... I'm still trying to persuade DH to give me a massage to help with it.

Ladies, could you explain your backache to me please! Is it like an ache or a pain? Ive had backache for the last few days, at the bottom of my back, the coccyx (tail bone) which is causing a stabbing pain in my left buttock! It kinda feels like sciatica which ive had before as the pain goes down my leg. I have no idea how I have done this.

I think Im clutching a straws for this to be a pregnancy symptom really, but I think Ive been having mild cramps too, but I cant say for sure as the back pain seems to have masked them, I cant really tell if its cramps or just normal back pain.

I have no other pregnancy symptoms, and I doubt that back ache would start at 7DPO somehow!

The backache I get isn't quite as low as that. It's more in the curve of my back and it feels as if I've been bending over backwards for ages and then straighten up but it's constant and not just a short time if that makes sense.

Thanks Chrissy! I dont think mine is anything to do with pregnancy to be honest. I have no feelings of pregnancy at all and would be quite shocked if I was this month!

Seen MW today and she was lovely. 3 blood tests done and urine sample. Given a date for first scan - our wedding anniversary!!!!!
She moved my dates forward to Oct 21 so it makes me 6 weeks pg!!!!
Given a Bounty pack too.
How did everyone else go on???????
