OUCH!!! Just had a sweep!! UPDATED

UPDATE 13/7, 17.04

Still here! Have been having regular contractions today (they said they were 10 mins apart on the monitor) but I've put off the induction until tomorrow in the hope that things may start naturally (I'm deffo going in at 2pm tomorrow if nothing kicks off). Apparently I can't have the gel, and they would be very cautious about the drip too because of my c/s scar. I think they'll just break my waters in the first instance.

If I don't get on here again I will update text buddy.

Well it's nearly midnight and I think I am going to go to bed!!! I am having more regular contractions now although they're only mild at the mo; have lost a little old blood (they said I may) so I think it's getting there very slowly!!!

I really thought this one would be quick!!!


Hi Everyone,

I'm 8 days over and still here!!! Nothing major has happened over the last couple of days but MW visited me here this morning and I hadn't had much movement in overnight/this morning and heartrate was on the slow side so she sent me in to have a trace.

Baby woke up and was fine, and I had a sweep and have just come home (it was pretty ouchy but quick) and she said baby's head was very low, I was 1-2cms and that it could happen fairly quickly; if not I'm booked to have an induction on Sunday.

Yep I know that feeling!!!!

I was not expecting it to hurt so ,uch and was glad I went into labor before they had the chance to do another one.
