Ok so me and the oh have been trying to conceive for over 18mobths now finally found out the problem was I wasn't ovulating. I was started on clomid had bloods done and they co firmed I ovulated with clomid so I've been given another 3 months worth I'm just finishing my second cycle from my 3 month batch. We have decided to try using opks this time round, my cycles were all over the place but this one seemed baxk to normal so thought we would increase our chances now.

The problem is I've no idea what time of day to test etc I've ordered a batch from amazon I'm on cd5 now and I had a 27day cycle this time round so I just don't know when to be taking them I'd also heard they are sometimes not reliable when on clomid can anyone help??

I'm not sure how they work with clomid, sorry :( but hopefully someone else here can answer that

As for time of day I usually test around 1pm, I know some people take them twice a day though.
I think it's best to stick to the same time everyday.

Good luck for this cycle xx

I don't know how they work on clomid. You need to test between 10am and 5pm. Good luck! If you have cheapie ones you can start testing now....you never know!

Thank you for your advice its been a massive help! Just waiting for them to arrive now! Lol

Also, it's best if you don't drink much or pee for the couple of hours beforehand - but I find that difficult! I do mine around 10.30am. You can pee into a disposable plastic pint cup and dip it in...it's much easier than peeing all over your hand!

Thank you for the advice it really is appreciated I'm hoping this will help us this month now that I seem to be on roughly a normal cycle length
