DH is in Germany from 1st-5th of June... I was hoping he would be back before I ovulate because I usually have long cycles but sometimes they can be 28 days. We've been trying IUI and last month they gave me progesterone (which didn't really agree with me - cramps and spots and made my blood sugar climb at night) and that seemed to delay AF by about 3 days so I was pretty hopeful that the trip wouldn't impact tycoon this month
I normally use the clear blue opk which have been very accurate for me but this time with him being away I thought I would get the ones that give you more high fertility days thinking that then I would get more warning if I will ovulate when he's away and then maybe we could time it better before he goes...
The last 2 days I was seeing some pre-o signs like mucus changing and it was making me think I would have a shorter cycle this month... then I tested this morning and got a flashing smiley which I think is the estrogen not the LH but should mean I'll ovulate in the next 4 days... it's day 9 of my cycle so that would put me on course for a 24-27 day cycle which is very short for me (usually minimum is 28 usually more like 34 and been up to 39&42 in the past)
So, question 1 - how accurate are these tests in your experience?
And based on the above which dates are best for BD? I was thinking the morning before he goes on 1st anyway but now I'm thinking maybe earlier too?
