We want something that is a little bit different, avoiding common names like Zara, Fatima, Zainab....

So far on my list:

Ahkirah (Ending) pronounced AKIRA
Zaynah (Beautiful) pronounced ZAY-NA
Hayah (Life) pronounced HI-YA
Eiliyah (The beautiful one to grow in peace and love with God.) UNSURE ABOUT PRONUNCIATION
Jasmin (Flower)
Liyanah (Softness, tenderness) pronounced LEE-AH-NA
Soraiyah (Princess) pronounced SOR-EYE-AH
Zaharah (Flower, beauty, star) pronounced ZAH-HARA
Imani (Faith)

Need other pretty names toooo........ Thanks!

My faves are Jasmin ans Liyanah from your list. Beautiful names :) x

Tapatalking :)

I really like Eiliyah pronouncing it E-lie-Yah but i dont know the right way to pronounce it or Jasmine both are really nice and i can pronounce them easily as a none muslim which when i worked in a muslim school was one of the hardest things because there where some unusual names pronounced nothing like i thought and i always worried about annoying or upsetting the child/parents by getting it wrong. Some kids would really make me struggle by having the same name on paper pronounced totally different!! :D xxx

I like soraiyah as it means princess (same as Sarah, which is my name!!) and jasmin!!! :-) xx

I really like soraiyah (can't scroll.back to check my spelling on phone). I teach in a mostly muslim school. We get a lot of zaynabs and zharas. I really like (from kids i have taught) fizza, naima, maryam and safaa. Just dipping in from ttc xx

They're lovely!

Not keen on soraiyah because it sounds like sore eye.

However Ahkirahand liyanah are gorgeous x

Sent from my shit hot phone! Fo shizzle home girls.

all your names are pretty

I really like Soraiyah the best, I am not so keen on Jasmine as my daughters class has about 5 of them, and they are all known by their surnames instead! But my daughter is ten now and names go in waves of popularity
