Oooooh! A new section for me lol

I'm on a mission for baby number 2! Have been tentatively talking to the OH about it over the last few days. Basically because of my ovarian cysts I am waiting to see the gynae cancer specialist, my mum lost both ovaries at 31 due to cancer and I have inherited her cysts .

The gynae consultant who has referred me told me it's best to start trying sooner rather than later as I could lose my ovaries within the next couple of years and if possible I don't want Albert to be an only child.

So I have to come up with a plan and can't think of what to do lol. I'm a healthy weight at the mo so would like to maintain it if possible. I'm going to start taking the ttc vitamins when we actively start trying. I'm hoping that the mothering instinct helps as have been told it can!

how exciting! not about the cysts, but ttc no 2 so close to Albert I hope all goes well and you get the go ahead at your appointment.......see you in TTC soon.

I'm not holding out much hope of falling quickly without help, Albert was born 11 years after we started ttc lol. My mum seems to think they will put me on meds to help but I'm not sure, will have to wait and see!

Best case scenario is that I get to wait a while or if not I fall quickly, worst case scenario is that my son is an only child. But at least I have him at last

How exciting to hopefully have another lo. Do you know how long you will have to wait for an appointment? Hope it's not too long hun.

I've also heard where it may not take as long ttc no2 as your body has also gone through it once, so maybe that will happen. FX for you.

I should get the letter within the next week, the gynae doc said not to wait any longer than that before ringing so fx. The gp warned us that subfertile women can get a real rush of fertile months after being pg so we are using condoms at the mo, don't want their birthdays too close we can't afford it lol
