Oooo Good news

Had some GREAT news today, you know Mr Gimba (the fertility specialist I have been with) wrote a letter to my GP recommending I had an early scan for reassurance and my GP rang me and said NO, (cheeky b*stard) well, I rang Mr Gimbas secretary and told her what GP had said and she said she would speak to mr Gimba when he got back from his hols on 1st Sept, well she just rang this aft and said Mr Gimba has sent a scan request to the scan department for within the next 2 weeks!
The only problem is my normal scan is only 2 weeks today and if this other scan is too close to that one, I will HAVE to be honest and tell them its not worth it but Its only Monday so if they contact me soon it could be this week, you never know, in which case I wont mention the one booked for the 20th, so fingers crossed xxxxxx

oooo lucky for some ! I have a gp just like that, she is a cow to say the least, just happy i dont have to see her anymore cause i requested not to ! hope you get both scans, and very good luck to you xx

Yes my GP was very blunt with my over it but he really shouldnt have argued with the specialist's recommendations in the 1st place! I hope he got a rollocking LOL xxx Bloody doctors eh?!!

Ooo Thanks babyelmo, me too, I'm just worried how close it will be to the other one, cos I'm dead honest and would have to pass. when I dont wanna pass, I WANT BOTH SCANS!!! I WANT A SCAN EVERY DAY!!! LOL LOL xxxx

Hopefully they'll get you in this week. They won't be able to do all the measurements yet I wouldn't have thought so you'll still have to go back for your 12 week scan anyway. Hurrah! I'll keep everything crossed for you!

Rang the hospital just now as I thought it may hurry things along, and spoke to the scan department. My specialist has recommened a scan in 2 weeks for me, 2 WEEKS!!! Thats when my scan is booked for anyway so it looks like I wont get the other scan now so disappointted AGAIN xxxx

At least 2 weeks is not too long - although I'm guessing 2 weeks feels like an eternity right now
