 AJ has just taken his nappy off for the 1st time ever!! Just sat in front of me pulling at it, then off it comes! He's 26 months!!

 He was giggling away and we even rang Daddy at work to tell him. (probably not the right think to do )

Bless him, at least it was only a wet one and he put it in the bin!

Awe bless is he potty training zander is 27 months and is dry day and night now :) it's great when they start not wanting their nappy he is much happier now without it :)

He's not.

He doesn't want a nappy on and loves to be 'nakie' but will not do anything on the potty/toilet.
We have major screaming fits when its time to change/put nappy on. I don't know what to do on that front??

Well done Zander :D xx

I gave him a warm milk and put his potty infront of the telly and when he eventually weed on it I was all yaaaaaaay and we sing

Ally ally zander did a wee wee on the poooty and he pulled do-wn his pants and his trou-sers

and say hip hipp and he says hooray!! Lol!

The frog potty out of Argos is great for sitting on really comfy if and when he has an accident just say oops wee wee is ment to be on the potty! And then sit him on the potty and praise him for just sitting there even if he doesn't do anything I started both mine from 18months I never tell them off for accidents but to be honest I haven't really had many coz I praise them so much for what they do they love doing it :) hope this helps :D I started when they pulled their nappies off it's a great sign x oh an just a top on no bottoms to start with xxxx

Thank you.

We've had the odd wee bit just random luck. Though we cheered and praised him. We showed him it then went down the loo.
He's been asking to sit on the potty/toilet since before he was 2 and have always let him but no progress.
He's holding his wee for longer periods but just doesn't like doing it without the nappy and will actually cry when he does go (without nappy).

He seen a potty today when out shopping to which he said 'no, don't need the potty'

Hopefully he'll just 'get it'. xx

Awe bless him good luck hunni - each child develops at their own rate anyway even to have had the random goodness is fantastic before 2 and a half well done him xxxx

Evie, you've had me thinking....I'm buying a new potty/toilet seat. He doesn't seam comfy on it and wouldn't sit that amount of time. I'm wondering if its that as he's refusing to sit on it but asking for it??
Thank you for sharing. xx

I don't know maybe ... We had a variety of pottys the kids just wouldn't sit on but since we bought the frog potty from Argos he has been great it's really big seated looks extra comfy and the tray if removable to tip into the toilet so you don't have to bring the whole potty I love it def in my top ten buys (omg you know when your a mum when a potty is in your top ten buys) :rotfl:

Well you have me convinced, I think I'll be buying very soon. I've already messaged my sister for her padded toilet seat that my nephew used for all of 2 weeks!

Well done AJ!!! Oliver is showing no signs what so ever at the moment. Doesn't even tell me if he's done a poo and even says has hasn't when we know he has! I'm sure it will come with time. Let us know how he gets on with the frog potty if you get one.

Will do. :) Oliver will get there.

My nephew never showed any signs. He was given nappy free time every evening to start and it went from there.

Yesterday was terrible  Kept telling his sister his pants hurt so he could get to the nappy to take it off!! S had to take extra nappies around!!
