I can't believe how much this baby is moving around at the moment! It's constant! Thrashing around all over the show! :rotfl:

WTF is going on in there

I know the feeling. Gizmo (that's my bump's nickname) is always doing that to me. I went out for a nap in the car at lunchtime and every time I closed my eyes, Gizmo would start moving and kicking

I was so worried about the excessive movement that I went to the hospital to check if it was ok lol

they strapped me down for 45 minutes and monitored the baby's movement. he didn't stop moving! the midwife said he was just very active, having a party in there!
that's my belly being monitored at the hospital: (I managed to take a picture with my phone while midwife wasn't looking :) )

OMG Laetitia! I must I admit, I was getting a bit concerned yesterday. It just didn't stop! I was thinking all sorts (like you do  ).

So, did they tell you it was perfectly normal? Just very active?

I never had any of this with my daughter. I bet I'm having a boy

I found at around the same time as you ladies that Imogen was more active then ever.Maybe she knew her space would get more cramped and was making the most of it.
I found my babies were active up till around 37 weeks and it all slowed down cos of the spac issue. Dont worry about it girls, i know it makes you nervous and anxious when something is happening you dont realise.

Bedding in and getting comfy I expect :D Settled down a bit today. Bet it's worn out after yesterdays performance !

I used to laugh when the midwife or doctor were trying to find Gizmo's heartbeat because they would have to chase across my stomach once they found it to get it again. Now it's not so bad because of him/her growing so big and not as easy to move around. Doesn't stop the constant kicking and bumping going on in there though. I'm lucky that the only time Gizmo seems to be quiet at the moment is when I'm asleep

You've all now got me more worried :( My wee boy is not that active at all. Yesterday I felt a couple of kicks in the morning then nothing all day until late at night (about 12 hours apart). Today I've only had a few very low - very low kicks- ones in the persoanl region only I can feel. Is this normal or should I be speaking to the doc?

I get different stories from different people like boys are always moving and girls just squirm around every now and then, then someone else has said that some are very active and likely to be that after being born, while those that don't move much will be quieter babies.

I wouldn't worry too much because as long as there's some movement you know baby is still alive and growing :)

Don't worry. Like I said before, my daughter was nothing like as lively as this, but she turned out a very healthy normal little girl.

I BET I'm having a boy :rotfl:

That's funny because I've always thought I was having a boy with all this movement, but all my family are adamant I'm having a girl. That's why we've gone with calling the baby Gizmo so that we don't say he or she

Yesterday and today my baby has been going crazy! From feeling the odd kick but mostly feeling its whole body squirming, it's discovered how to poke mummy very hard in the side! I'd love to know what position it is in and what bit is poking me - I feel it's an elbow or a knee - something hard and bony and sharp! Got 34 wk appointment with mw on Friday so she will be able to tell me if it's turned (was breech last time) but I suspect not...
