I'm just going to update on here rather than start a labour thread....

Was examined at 3pm after baby was monitored... Was only 2cm dilated despite midwife telling me I was 3cm at my last sweep! Propess pessary put in at the same time so now just waiting for something to happen!

Propess has to be in for 24 hours so won't be examine again until this time tomorrow or unless something starts happening!

Will update when something happens xxx

Last update before I try and sleep! Started with really uncomfortable back ache about 7pm could not get comfortable, it's started getting worse especially when walking around, they monitored me and said its contractions but not regular yet and not to painful to be honest just really uncomfotable! Going to try and sleep for a bit although I doubt I'll be able to I am a bit to uncomforable but really don't want painkillers until I can't cope! I'll ipdate again when I can xxx

It's 3am... Just woke up, pains hve subsided but still have a niggly ache,
Got up to go to the loo and felt a big gush of fluid, got midwife and she examined me, she said my front waters are intact so must be back waters so she took out the propess and said to watch out for contractions and that's it.... My cervix has made progress it's gone from 2cm long to 1cm long but not dilated anymore going to try and sleep again xxx

Hope things progress soon for you lovely. Pessary brought on my contractions but then they stopped. It's hard playing the waiting game.

They are getting quite uncomfortable now, I'm on the monitor and can see my contractions, they are not coming in thick and fast though so I can cope at the moment! waters are trickling out of me but it's my back ones not front! She said she can break my waters so think she's going to monitor abit more and then call delivery suite so I can go have my front waters broken! I'm praying that gets me into full labour so I don't have that drip but whatever happens happens, I'm just ready to meet this little one now! waited long enough the lazy little buggar xxx
