Yesterday we went out as a family for the first time since having bailey..

and omg i need a bigger car!

There isnt a way i can get 3 car seats in the back.. or even 1 in the front and 2 in back as i cant get my fat bum in the middle...

Looks like when i can drive mark will be walking every where cos we cant afford one as yet.. but that means no family days out for us for a few years..

what am i gonna do

we got a vauxhall vectra

Get a Ford Focus C-max, we have one and it's huge in the back :D

we was looking at the piccaso (sp)....

But we cant afford a bigger car at the moment.. wish we could...

anyone got any idea;s what i can do in the meantime ..

We have just recently bought a Picasso.

We like it so far - have had a few problems, but they were not because of the type of car, just little things that all cars have go wrong.

We like it so far, have been told you can get 3 seats in the back, but haven't tried it. hAve had 2 in the back with someone sitting in between so I guess it would fit.

Not cheap though - was 6.5 grand for a 51 plate

Can't help for the meantime hun.

We recently got a car seat/ booster for out 18 month old from argos. It takes up less space that a full on car seat, it's the same as a booster but can be used from 9kgs.
Not sure if that would help

The one we was looking at was £2500 for a 51 plate, butr second hand.. they do look spacious though could easily get 3 seats in that!

oh bummer, could do with winning the lottery eh!

That is exactly the problem we had! We had a Mondeo plus it was a saloon so not much room for a double pram in the boot. We ended up exchanging it for a picasso and its so much better. Loads of room in the back and the seats even move forward and back which makes it easier. We even managed to fit in the double pram and the buggy in the boot the other day and there was still room! I'd say we lost money on our car as we did a staight swap at car craft cos we were having trouble selling ours but its loads better plus it diesel too wheres the Mondeo was a 2.5 litre petrol.

Ours was relatively low mileage but not 4 grands difference worth!!

Providing it's sound that one sounds like such a bargain!

We just got rid of a huge 4x4 - you'd have had PLENTY of space in that.
We've kept the 2nd one though

We had a Civic Coupe before which wouldn't even get one car seat in. Now we've got an 02 VW Passat (the fast one) and it's huge :) We got ours from a car supermarket for £6500 and 32000 miles, as we had no money to put down as deposit, so we pay £140 a month for it.

we've got a Citroen C3 would easily get three car seats in me thinks :D
