Well yesterday he projectile vomited twice and was crying and clingy all day. He was also straining for a poo for ages and then when he went there was loads. He was also off his food. :(

I had an appointment at the docs to check out a lump on my thigh so changed it for him. The doc checked him over and said it was probably a "virus".. the usual!

Well we had a restless night and he is now in bed after his bottle. I just hope it settles, First the cold and now this (i blame the non breatfeeding.. lol.. )

I must say though that having a baby makes you worry so much! I'm usually so laid back with medical stuff for me but when it comes to Ollie im a nightmare.. i just hope it gets easier and i worry less cos if it doesnt im never having anymore children!

UPDATE: Well Ollie still isnt good. He isnt projectile vomiting now but he has had several very watery poos (had a few clothes changes) Now i always get worried where his bowels are concerned (due to my crohns) so just wanted reasurrence that its all normal. Anyone else had a baby around Ollies age with sickness and diorreah? How long did it take to go back to normal. He seems a bit better in himself today and is drinking more milk.

Liam not been himself lately but i suspect its his gums. I know its early to be teething but he constantly is biting down on his fists and his little cheeks are red etc.

How you getting on with the Gaviscon? Did you find it made a big difference after his bottles?

Tha gaviscon is working well as he is usually sick a lot less now. I definately think he has a tummy bug. He had me up all night and now he has diarreah.. not nice..I have no idea where he could have caught it from.. I hope ive been sterilising everything ok!

Lola-Mae has had a cold for the last few days again with a bit of diarrhoea! Its not nice but it will go in a couple of days!
Offer him extra cooled boiled water and if it doesn't change in 48 hours take him back to the docs!
If he is sick a lot again and still has diarrhoea and his fontanelle looks depressed then call NHS helpline or the out of hours doc!
If he seems really bad, doesn't take his food etc then take him A&E! Don't worry that you are being over protective or anything! It is always always better to be safe than sorry!
But he will more than likely just get over the virus over the next day or so!
