there is the worlds biggest spider parading itself around my lounge, im stood on one good leg balancing on the sofa holdin bam who's asleep....

were the fook is dad to get this monster out of my lounge

I have been there - I got a can on fly killer and blasted it
Took half the can for it to eventually die under my dining room table and there it stayed until DH came back from working away to remove it - I was too scared to even hoover it up unless it came back to life

I am such a spider wuss so can completely sympathise am training DD up to pick spiders up for me

aww spiders are good, they kill flies i hate flies! i usually trap spiders under a glass, slide paper underneath and set them free outside

they do gimme the creeps tho make me feel all fluttery aiiiiiiiiiiiieeee!

Ooooooh noooooo! Frankinspider!! He usually inhabits my house. Clearly he is on his holidays at yours.

Im guessing he has a knuckle duster and a gold tooth.

The only thing for it is to suck it up into the vacuum cleaner whilst keeping the vacuum at arms length....

I got one a few months ago and it's bloody brilliant. Both DH and I are scared of spiders but I catch them with that thing now and it's so much less scary.

I show them to my dog who plays with them but she wasnt too impressed when one bit her on the nose the other week and actually wouldnt let go it was the funniest thing ever

I try not to kill the spiders if i can help it, i feel guilty, lol. I normally manage to trap them under a glass and leave them until OH gets in, or if i really HAVE to be the one to let themgo (which means getting close to the glass and seeing them up close *shiver* gives me the jeebies just thinking about it) then i try to make friends with them I'll give it a name, and tell it "if you dont run at me or do anything creepy, you'll live, otherwise i'll have to tread on you"....it seems to work for me, haha.

There was a bloody HUGE beast on the ceiling of Izzies bedroom yesterday, and it had made a big web. On it were little black dots...it had BABIES! I had to leave that one for OH. We he had to try and scrape all these tiny little babies into the glass with her. I felt really bad, but she was ahuge b*tch and those babies would have grown and grown

OMG i'm so scared of spiders! Yet i won't let OH kill them, he has to release them! Lol. I cry, OH comes near me with it i run away and shut myself in another room til it's gone. If i'm home alone i'll either suck it up the hoover while crying, or not let it out of my sight til OH gets in! He reckons i have some sort of 6th sense for them. We can be sat in the dark, look round at the wall and one will be there!

I always put a glass over it and wait until my OH comes home to get rid of it, Sometimes it can be 9 hours away lol

Sorry though I can't help as they don't bother me - I just leave them. Or watch them - I find 'mini-beasts' fascinating.
