I am completely bewildered. to cut a long story short, I have been thinking because I am on a fixed term contract that I am not entitled to maternity pay. NOT TRUE. Just spoke to HMRC. IF I get pregnant THIS month technically I am entitled to full maternity pay. Next month NO (due to when my contract expires). This is crazy. I had no idea this is the case.
It is now day 14 of my cycle. My last two cycles have been 30 days long. I think this means I will probably ovulate on day 30. I could have a chance of getting pregnant this month, IF this evening when my fiance gets home, I can convince him that now would be a good time to have a baby.
In the space of a couple of hours, a desperate woman has gone from thinking I'm going to have to wait over a year to try for a baby to realising that I can try this evening.
However, whatever the chances of me actually conceiving this evening are , you can bet the chances of my fiance agreeing to this are even slimmer.
Help girls! How can I convince him?!
