I'm having a sickly day today and so doing nothing but relaxing as I've been puking this morning and have a really sore back, but I'm generally very busy, so this is the first time it's really dawned on me...it's suddenly hit me...I'm gonna be having a baby in 2 days  OMG! OK so I have two days to try and go into labour naturally  Come on baby! I feel like I should be running around getting things ready but I just want fri to come round quickly so I can meet my LO. OMG!!! I'm gonna be a mummy! :cheer:

Awwww   Not long now :)

Can I ask why you are having an induction at just on 40 weeks? I thought women were allowed to go over this by a fair margin provided LO and mum were ok. If there is a medical reason for it then sorry for being so nosy and hope I have not offended. If there is no real medical reason, just they have booked you in for then is all, I am curious.

I ask as I hope to homebirth and am doing reading into inductions and how late you can leave them etc, should LO not arrive on time or a bit before.

OO you lucky spud!! I wish I was getting induced this week.
Its mad to think that in 48 hours your wee baby could be here!

Woo hoo!

Baby's growth slowed down from about 34 wks, the scans showed a slow down in abdominal growth so I had to have another one at 38 wks and growth was still slow so due to this the Dr. didn't want me to go over my due date. Baby is just reached roughly 6lbs and i'm fully engaged so ready to be induced :cheer: The other issue was that I was diagnosed with antenatal depression and have lost a lot of weight myself so that also added to the problems.

Ah that makes sense then :) Sounds like a good call on the docs part and I can quite understand why its being done. And good that you are fully engaged also already.

Thanks for explaining :)

I know! It's mental! My hubby is SOOOOO excited, he had the afternoon off work and he's just gone out and done a big food shop and he's put the washing on...he seems to be nesting! It's so sweet though, he's beaming from ear to ear and keeps hugging me and kissing the bump! Me...I'm sitting on the bed, feet up, relaxing and doing basically very little  :bored: I'm making the most of the peace and quiet :D

No problemo :D My mum had the same condition with all three of us. The Dr. when she had me didn't pick up the condition early enough and allowed her to go 2 wks overdue, her placenta stopped working efficiently and I lost a lot of weight in utero and was only 5lbs when I was born. My mum also lost half a stone and was quite unwell. For my bro and sis the picked it up early enough and she was induced for both at her due date.

Good luck for Friday! Not long now (sorry to panic you)! Its so exciting...lots of babies coming soon. I will keep an eye out for any news on Friday/Saturday.

Your husband sounds like a dream! What did you do or say to him? I don't think my husband even knows where the supermarket is and the washing machine is a big mystery to him. Oh well!

Thanks :D Wierdly though I've just started having major period pains... this baby may decide to come out earlier :cheer:

I'm super lucky with my hubby, he's just amazing, a real rock to me! He's very domesticated too...I thought I'd hit the jackpot when we moved in together! He works amazingly hard and does all the clothes washing, loves tidying up, an always unloads the dishwasher. He's a complete sweetie and makes me feel special every day. I love him to bits and pieces  It's a good thing he's so domesticated as I'm rubbish! I'm clean and tidy but I hate doing washing and ironing and am naughty about leaving my muddy riding boots in the hallway and trailing straw around the house
