Finally, me and Hubby have agreed on a girls name we both absolutely love. It's his grandparents surname. Florence

But,,,,,, what if one day she becomes an auntie,,,,,,, Aunt Flo??!!!!!!!? (AF)

I love the name Florence, i doubt she would get called that unless she decided to be called that.

Florence is a really nice name if it helps I dont call any of any anuts "anut or auntie" just by thier first names

Aunt Flo is US slang and i'd never heard of it before i joined PF. I doubt anyone would make the connection at all.

I wouldn't even use Flo as a shorten version even, i don't like "Flo".

I like Florence though

I tell you what would though Toni and that is how many babies are being called Florence this year. I can only say with affection dont decide on it now! Wait and then check how many you know when you are due next July. I think you will find it is blooming loads
