Off to docs again..

The week I got pregnant I vowed to enjoy my second and last pregnancy. The truth is, ever since that week the A&E or doc surgery has been my second home. After two UTI's, and two preggy scares, I am going back again today, as I've had an awful night unable to sleep due to a filthy cold (thanks to my son who carried it from his school and into my house last week!!) and a very sore throat, which is now getting so hoarse and raspy when I talk, even the baby can't recognise it's inside the same mother!! The doc probably won't give me much but if I have to take yet ANOTHER course of antiobiotics they might as well give me a stock of them for the rest of this pregnancy, the rate i'm going!

Hope you feel better soon, it coulds be the change in weather too. Don't know about where you are but i's been really changeable here- thunderstorms one day, roasting the next!

annaespana - we're having storms interspersed with soaring temperatures. Very hot and sunny today after a night of lightning and rain, so yeah its really crazy at the moment!

Got back from docs who said lemsip cold and flu are OK as well as strepsil lozenges. I've had a couple of lemsips, but im going to stick to honey and squeezed lemons from now as I dont like taking anything really! It seems I do have an infection but no antibiotics unless I get worse!

I'm off to lie on the deckchair outside and sniffle and sneeze at my book I think.
