I don't know why we just don't seem to get a 16 week appointment where I'm from. They went through blood test results and took bp etc just before my scan at 12 weeks! Yea il just have to be patient and wait another few weeks!

Yea the green is a bit in your face but I love the grey too! I think I may just go for black tho and maybe spillages etc may be less visible! I do really like the red but if I have a girl any pink would totally clash and can't be having that lol

I'm here to moan again sorry girls x was hoping for a better day today but all I've done is cry, my Nan was rushed into A&E last night and sadly passed away at 8am this morning :( feel so emotional, I know she was old and had a good life but I can't help but think that life is shit today. Feels so unfair that I'm carrying a new life and she's just had to leave this one. Feel so down that she'll never get to meet this baby, esp as she adored my little boy. Sorry for my outpour on here, just got a heavy heart today xxxx
 
Oh Beci I'm so sorry to hear about your Nan. :-( . Your post just made me cry :hugs: I hope you have your family around you to comfort you at this hard time. Xxxx . I miss my Nan so much I went to her grave to tell her that I was pregnant before I told anyone else in our families. My mum has found some knitting that Nan never got to finish so mum is going to make a blanket for the baby out of it so my baby will have something that my Nan made. Look after yourself my heart is with you. Xxx.

Midwife was great. My little man was nice and layed perfect for listening to his heartbeat. Was so lovely, unti, my 10yr old Commented th a t it sounds like the game pac man :) kids eh? Lol
Ended up not going shopping as OH and me had a bit of a fall out earlier. So now I am bein stubborn and only speak what I have to with him lol
A right moody cow at the moment... thats why I came on here to switch off a bit.

So sorry Becci to hear your sad news, thinking about you and your family at this sad time.
Thanks for the good wishes girls, everything is fine.It took the midwife what seemed like forever to find the heartbeat and even then she had to check that it wasn't mine she could hear.She felt my tummy and said baby was a good size already and that she would be expecting me to be feeling something by now.She also said it is possible that the placenta is at the front and that could be why not feeling anything and also the heartbeat sounded swooshy like she was hearing it through the placenta.She was very nice and told me if i ever need reassuring just to pop in on a Wednesday and she will have a listen! Xx
 
I'm pleased midwife appointment went well vampysgirl and you could hear little mans heartbeat. I chuckled at what your bigger man said lol . Men do my head in , I spent most of the afternoon making a cottage pie for dinner, all through it OH was moaning cus it had too many vegies in it and not enough meat. Then he said after I put too much mash potato on too. :-( the stupid idiot ate all his pudding though !!!

Claire, I sometimes do wonder. Hehe but he just went into the kitchen and said he will do supper now :dance:
I think they sometimes dont realise what we go through during pregnancy...

Daisyboo, so glad all was well today. It's so frustrating when you can't yet feel movement.

Beci, I'm so sorry for your loss. Look after yourself!

I had my 16 week appointment yesterday (at 15 weeks) and all was well. Got even more blood taken off me as they're closely monitoring my iron levels after I had problems last time. Now I just need the 5th June to hurry up so I can see my baby again :)

I've finally got some peace, I'm tucked up in bed with the TV on :-) . What has everyone got planned for the bank holiday weekend? Me and my dog are off too stay at mum and dads for the weekend, whilst OH and his family are doing some decorating here. :-)
 
Just got back from work cant believe how much i missed on her today. Sorry about your lose bevi. Hopefully your little one will inherit loads of your nan's spirit.

Glad all went well at the me Vampsy. I am impressed with your little man I wouldn't expect today's kids to know what Pacman was. Equally I have no idea what games are trendy now ;)

I am spread on the sofa after coming back from collage... What I was thinking too sign up for school now :) good that they are only 10 weeks long... I would be worried that I may not fit in the exam desk if they would take any longer :) I had a shower earlier on today, looked down and I could only see my toes! Bump getting bigger by day!
