****October 2014 mummies****

I'm due 2nd October :)

The leaflet that came out with my appointment letter called it the 20-23 week scan lol covering their asses for delays I suppose! Lol! Will you be team Yellow or will you be finding out? x

Hehe so I don't complain that mine is done so late. I suppose the real reason for that is, I will have a cardiologist doing one bit of the scan as I lost my son 4 years ago at 23+5 due to a heart deformation and I was told this time I will have a specialist coming in during the scan to rule out any heart problems.
I normally want to be team yellow but my partner and son want to know. So I go along with it, even deep down I have a feeling what it is anyway lol.
Are you staying team yellow?

We are going to ask if it's boy or girl definitely! Vampgirl it will fly the time...

Vampysgirl, I'll be 22+1 as well when I get mine. It feels like forever away :( I guess I shouldn't complain though as the reason mine is so late is they were fully booked and we got ours because of a cancellation.
And snap again as far as finding out the gender's concerned. Oh and dd want to know so I may well find out if baby lets us see x

I'll be 21+4 for my big scan but I've booked in with ultrasound direct at 18+3.. I can't wait that long  x

Feb mum, I had a look at them too. Will speak to oh later and ser what he says. They are a lot cheaper then other places around here

They are so much more affordable, I'm going for the gender scan at £39 which includes a baby well being check which I'm more interested in. Always nice to see baby is doing ok. Other clinics around here are £200+ x

Morning :) got my 20 week scan on 4th June xx excited as my last scan I was only 10 weeks, feels like ages ago xx was up about 6 times in the night to have a wee! Xx

Yay I have a scan buddy lol xx mine is at 10.20, what time is yours? Xx

4.05, need to plan things for that day to kill some time lol so exciting! X

Lol, I am not good at waiting either xx I may look at booking an earlier scan too. Excited to find out the gender this time so I can start buying colour specific! I didn't find out with my son as I wanted a surprise, think this might help prepare him a bit if I can tell him whether he's having a brother or a sister! Xx

That's exactly the way I'm thinking. What age is your son? My boy is 4 and he 100% thinks baby is a boy! he says no girls just boy babies  so if it's a girl I'd like him to be prepared, he's a really good child and very loving so I know he will adore whatever we have.

I didn't find out with Odhrán but I seen his bits a week before I had him so I didn't get the surprise in the end haha x

Lol, typical isn't it! My boy is 5, he occasionally drops into the conversation how he hates babies crying and how all baby toys are rubbish lmao! When asked the other day by some random person if he wants a brother or a sister he said he wants both haha! He will love bossing a sibling about though I'm sure! He's also very loving and I'm sure he'll be protective ( in between the odd swipes!) xx

Yip I plan on staying team yellow :)

So sorry to hear about your loss vampysgirl :( it's good they are keeping a close eye this time round

I made my first purchase thismorning! I said I wouldn't buy anything until after my 20 week scan but it was too much of a bargain to miss out on!

£36 down to £10 !

There was only newborn in stock so I hope baby doesn't grow out of it too soon! One of the other ladies posted about the bargain and I couldn't resist an impulse buy!!
