Apologies for the long, waffling post, but here goes...

My BBT chart told me I O’d on CD10. I thought this was a bit early but I went with it.
CD16 - 19 I started to feel extremely bloated and was cramping. I thought AF was coming but ended up with 3 positive OPKs in as many days, which I thought was a bit weird.
CD20 I had a sudden rise in temp, followed by some very very light pink CM in my pants yesterday.
I temped this morning, thinking I was only 2 days from my AF arriving and having been HPTing like crazy the last couple of days, to find that the chart now thinks I O’d on CD19 !
Can anyone explain why this could have happened? Could the CD10 temp rise have been a failed attempt at O or just a random rise in my body temp?
If I have only just O’d it’s not the end of the world as we BD’d on “new” O day anyway so I’m still in with a chance.
Thing is, I’ve been symptom spotting like a thing possessed these last few days, having convinced myself that I was definitely pregnant this month and I’m so frustrated and upset that I’ve got to do the 2WW all over again that I just want to curl up in a ball and cry 😢 Plus I’m still really bloated and experiencing dull, pre-AF type cramps and some nausea so I’ve no idea what’s going on there either.
I just feel so stupid for letting myself get so carried away and getting my hopes up so much this month.

If you got clear o signs (cramps) and three positives on CD16-19, why are you shocked you o'd on CD19? Sounds normal to me! Strange temp rises can be caused by many things, charting isn't an exact science. This is why OPKs and checking your CM are also super important, so you know when the chart is wrong :)

Well, yeah, in hindsight it is a lot more obvious!
I’ve never had ovulation cramps before, or if I have it was a lot less noticeable and wasn’t accompanied by the massive bloating and gas I had this time so it wasn’t immediately obvious at the time.
I have tried to test CM as well but I never seem to have enough of it to be sure of what type I’m getting so that’s not really a good indicator for me

I can see why CD10,11 and 12 threw you for a loop!
As WW said, unfortunately there can be a myriad of reasons for temps elevating and yes your body could have geared up for an early O but never reached the threshold of actually triggering the release of an egg (your eggs too could just not have been ready OR you could have experienced some stress and your body decided that it's better if you don't ovulate just yet). Also, your body could have been fighting off some kind of infection and won.

I also struggle with quality CM - only now, more than 12 months off bc, it's starting to get better. So, I had to rely on temps and OPKs. Good thing you thought of doing those OPKs else you might have had further confusion.

Oh and HIGH5 and that superb BD timing! That was well timed even if it wasn't planned!

Hehhehe I hope that your 'new' TWW feels really short and ends in a :bfp:

LOL, thanks!! We didn’t get to BD much this cycle due to work and various other inconveniences so hopefully my little charting faux pas has worked out for the best :)
I’ve been off BC since December so hopefully I’ll start seeing some CM improvement soon.

I’ve been really, really good with not symptom spotting too much until this week when I appear to have jumped onto the crazy train with both feet! Now that I have been given a second chance at my 2WW this cycle I shall be sure to take a much more chilled-out approach
