Hi ladies,

Just wonder if anyone uses specifically made nursing tops at all to aid discrete breastfeeding?

Just wondering where's a good place to find them and what sorts you find the best/easiest to use?

I just use big baggy tops, I bought 3 from Primark at about £8 each lol. They work better for me as my boobs are huge and saggy lol, so I get them out underneath my top, and use the excess material to drape on Debs face to be discreet - that is until she pushes it away lol. If you're smaller, you may want something else, but for big boobies, big tops work fine :cheer:

I agree with gingerpig - I find large tops work really well....... I feed loads out in public and I find big loose tops are fab...

grace can be fed underneath them and no-one sees anything very much

big baggy t-shirts and jumpers - its a wasteof money buying breast feeding tops they cost a bomb anyway!

I bought some, unfortunately my milk didn't come in so have no need for them but I still wear them as I like them!! I got them from mamaway over the net. Its your call I spent nine months dreaming of wearing nice clothes again so I wanted pretty tops not baggy t shirts but that is just me, everyone os different xxx

I brought some nursing tops and found them a godsend. They weren't expensive either around £8 each at H & M Mama. They've washed really well and 5 months on I'm still wearing them.

Xxx

Many thanks Ladies for your input.

Has anyone had any experience using them while breastfeeding the baby in a wrap/sling?

I might have to see if my mum's able to see if she can make some for me, when we're in need of them of course, as i have seen that they're quite expensive, and they don't seem to make them in my size that i've found so far.

Need to get pregnant first. :D

Many thanks again for your input into this matter.

I personally just use a normal top and whip 'em out when needed!

I have invsted in some nursing tops, wear them when I'm off out anywhere, as with M after 9 months I wanted to feel a bit more attractive again, and for me that means a few new items of clothing.

I have a few normal tops (stretchy vests & wrap over tops) that are great for if I'm at home or just visiting family/ friends so I just whip 'em out.

One of my stretchy wrap tops was only £4 in ASDA so i bought 2

i personally havent bought any nursing tops as such.. just lots of wrap tops or i wear a normal top with a vest underneath or a boobtube so im not exposing much...

altho i h&m do tops for like a tenner... might invest in a few i think

I have bought a couple of these (actually by accident, I thought they were just maternity tops) so will let you know.

Bought one in black though, which I may learn to regret!!??

I bought a couple of tshirtsa from jojo mamae bee and found them better than the side opening ones.

fed in public for the first time todat think i would be selfconscious whatever i was wearing
