This started yesterday, he hardly fed for 12 hours during the day but over night was normal! Anyone who's experienced this what did you do? What was the cause? This morning he's refusing his feed! Xxx

How old is LO?? Teething can cause them.

Kelly mom has some great info on it.

My LO had 3 nursing strikes in just over a month and I discovered it was the mini pill that was causing it. Once I came off that we didn't have any more.

He's just short of 6 months, I believe he is teething... everything is going in his mouth like he's agitated about something and he's dribley and has a spot of a runny bum! I might also put it down to a curry I had the night before the strike (it was a mild one but I'm guessing it made my milk taste funny?)... yesterday he fed more than ever...

Thanks for your reply :-) xxx

I've noticed my lo fusses when I eat any sort of curry or chinese ( annoying but great for losing baby weight!). He also fusses when teething so I would imagine he probably wouldn't feed if it was all going on. Try not to worry as longs as having wet nappies.

Yeah he seems better now, the strike seemed to last a day and a half... was worried about my supply, did express a bit but I was panicking that he was going to want to feed straight after I had expressed and he refuses a bottle... duhh... xxx
