Hi all, does anyone know which nursing bras are best for big boobs? I'm a 38gg now and will probably be bigger after baby arrives. Which brands do big sizes? Xx

Good, supportive, underwired nursing bras are so hard to find in regular stores. Look on amazon. I bought 3 from there which are just perfect! I have big boobs and most nursing bras tend to make them look saggy because there's no support and they just get weighed down.

I found some excellent bras which defy gravity. Most of the ones I buy have underwire made of flexible materials so they give perfect support while giving easy access to the nipple. If only I'd have known about these with my previous kids because I kept switching to regular underwired bras when going out which would make it difficult to feed in public. With these i forget that I'm wearing a nursing bra, they're that good. I never got mastitis from underwire before but I can't speak for anyone else.

The Madela one looks like just what I might be looking at in the not too distant future. I am still wearing my 36FF bras at the minute but my cup size has grown and my back size shrink so going to have to give in and get refitted soon but I refuse to buy non underwired maternity bras as I dop not feel supported. I am planning to breastfeed so am aware they will onyl get bigger and these look like a great solution when the time comes. Thanks Girls :)

I can't wear non underwired bras either, not even for nursing. They feel uncomfortable as my breasts get heavy and ache with lack of support and my cleavege looks awful! Underwired all the way for me. :-)

Bravissimo fitted me with a Royce one which was okay for a while but I can't stand them now. I'm so sick of the lack of underwires and I hate the fact that my boobs aren't separated at the cleavage, because having no wire means the two cups merge into one.

Missy, two of the ones you've linked don't really have big sizes though and one has double sizes, like 34F/G and I think being that vaguely sized isn't going to be good for mastitis prevention,or fitting really big boobs in general.

My Royce is a 38HH but I think I need to go back down to a 36 since giving birth as it's riding up the back. I hate having to pay out so much for good bras, really bugs me, I was a 34/36H pre-pregnancy so it's not a new problem to me.

I have read that you can buy the clasps online to convert normal bras into nursing ones, I am tempted to get some and test it out with my old wired bras to see if I can do that. I'd love to wear normal bras again!
