Nursery?

Hey all just a quick question i was thinking of sending both my little 'uns to nursery 1 day a week when i go back to work (intend doing 3) i have just inquired on prices from a nursery just up the road from me and this is what they are i mean a little pricey or what (well in my opinion anyway).

Full Day (08.00 - 1800)
Age 0-2 £35.00
Age 2-3 £33.00
Age 3-5 £30.00

Half Day AM/PM (08.00 - 13.00 or 13.00 - 18.00)
Age 0-2 £19.25
Age 2-3 £18.15
Age 3-5 £16.50

Cooked Lunch
Age 0-2 £1.40
Age 2-3 £1.40
Age 3-5 £1.40

 

What were the prices hun? Think it missed them out x

I actually think that is very reasonable Flossy. I have inquired around here, and one quoted me £800 per month. What your nursery is quoted would work out at about £700 (I think!).

You have to remember that for babies, they are only allowed 2 babies per staff member (I'm sure that's what I was quoted, but I may be wrong). Add on all the overheads to that persons wage, and it is quite reasonable, it just seems extortionate to us!

thats about right. ipay £35 a day for Dior to go to a childminder 9am-5pm

so when i go back to work and Harley and Dior both have childcareit will be £70 a day

Shop around, it really varies. My son goes to one which costs us £40 per day, but my friend sends her son to one which costs only £24 per day. Unfortunately, it's in the wrong direction for me, so I wouldn't be able to drop him off and get in to work on time.

Braydon is £43 a day plus dinner and snacks etc
