My lg is 13 months old and had been sleeping fine up till now. Last weekend we went away with all the family and she was very clingy to me the whole time we were there, crying if I went out of sight for a second. Now since we've been back her sleep at night is horrendous. Right now she has been crying for the last hour and a half and I can't seem to do anything! If I go in and hold her or rub her back she calms down but as soon as I leave she is screaming again. It's driving me nuts, I don't know what to do. Can anyone offer any advice please?

If it's only been going on for a week she could just be unwell or teething. I'd ride it out to see what happens.

Could she sleep in your bed for a few nights? Or could you lay with her in her bed until she's in a deep sleep?

I remember going through similar at a similar age. Tbh i think its just one of those things (the same happened again around 2 years old). I just rode it out and cuddled her until she went to sleep. It lasted a couple of weeks if i remember.

Lucie did the same, she co slept for a few nights and really wouldn't settle in her cot and would go hysterical when I tried to lower her into her cot. In the end, I took the side off and put the spare mattress on the floor and laid on there until she fell asleep, the next night I laid down while she was nearly asleep and then the third night I popped her in bed and left. She prob got out of bed 3 times but I just popped her back in. She really didn't like being penned in but was quite happy to be there. I also used to warm her bed with a hot water bottle first so it was cosy x
