Nose Bleeds?

I had a nose bleed yesterday evening completely out of the blue, and then again this morning! It's not something I normally suffer from... Has anyone else had any, or do you know whether it's something to worry about?

Could it be your blood pressure has gone up as that can sometimes cause it.

Thanks, yep I feel fine generally so it was a bit of a surprise! My mum's got a bp machine so I might pop over later and see how it looks.

It's totally normal. Nose bleeds and bleeding gums are just another wonderful pregnancy symptom. I've had a bloody nose for a few weeks now, not bled yet though.

The membranes in your nose change and can bleed more easily. Don't worry about it.

I had them all the way through pregnancy..had one nose bleed day after Isaac was born then no more since...not nice but it's very normal!

I was having these and my midwife said totally normal. Just something to do with your blood vessels expanding (I think?) more when you are PG. I thought it was blood pressure related too, but MW said that's a myth apparently
