no poo since thursday

tegan is 10 days old today and hasnt done a poo since thursaday morning. im getting really worried now is this normall? x

Charley went 24 hours without a poo so I asked my hv and she said it's normal for babies to go a week without pooing!! As long as she doesn't seem in pain, she should be fine! I got told to rub his tummy and bring his knees up to his chest to help!

thanks hun i keep checking her nappy hoping for a poo! she keeps passing plenty of wind lol x

I kept praying there would be a poo in each nappy! Lol! HV said it's more common for breastfed babies to go a while without pooing!

im breastfeeding so maybe thats why! ive got to go and c the mw tommorrow so i'll mention it to her, i always seem to be worrying about something! x

she must of saw me write this coz i changed her nappy not long after and soon as i put a clean one on she done a massive poo lol x

amazing how we're pleased to see a poo lol! When Cahal was born he did his meconium poo in the hospital, then nothing for 5 days. Then it was another 5 days before he had another, and they gradually got more regular from there. He now does two a day minimum, I'm sure Tegan will settle into a poo routine too lol

i do hope so! she done loads in the first 48 hours then went a day without one then 2 days and then this 4 day stint. ive never been so happy to see poo lol x
