This month is the first month of me using opks, ever, according to my apps I was due to ovulate yesterday, I’m usually smack bang on 28 days every cycle, however I’ve just had my first AF after a late miscarriage, is it possible ovulation is still coming? How common are anovulatory cycles? I have so much to learn lol

One anovulatory cycle a year is normal. But if you've recently had a MC it's likely that your period won't be super regular for a few cycles. You'll probably just ovulate a bit late this month. Good luck x

hey dinkydizzy, I would say after your MC and especially late stage that your ovulation will be all over the place. They say it can be like that for the first 3 months following a MC. You may ov late or not at all this first one but as your body is getting back to normal things may be a little wonky for a while xx

Thankyou, I never had this after my 6 week loss, my body was just business as usual x

I'm so sorry for your losses. At 6 weeks your body can usually get on with it quickly because your hormone levels never got the chance to get very high and your body never really went through any big changes. After 14 weeks though, you've missed 3 periods/ovulations and your hormone levels managed to get really high. Your uterus had to grow to more than triple its size. Lots went on, so it makes sense that it would take longer to get back to usual. Hopefully you'll be back to normal soon x

Really sorry for your loss hun, but I agree with the others concerning the different stage of the pregnancy that you were at. It can take a while for your hormonal balance to regulate again, and for your cycle to function properly  x

Thanks ladies, I’ll just keep testing them, good job I brought 50 lol x
