Took Luke for his 3rd set of jabs yesterday afternoon, but because he had been rather sleepier than usual and is a bit snuffly, I told the nurse and she asked if she would like me to take his temp... DUH.. YES!

She did it and it was 37.3. Their cut off is 37.2! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

We got away with it for another week! I really didn't want him to have them yesterday since I don't feel he is 100% right now. Poor baby. But hey... another week to prepare myself LOL :cheer: :cheer:

Thats what happened with our first jabs Debbie, Chester was just too warm, but he had been quite chesty the whole week before!

I hate taking him for injections, I take my sis with me now cus I cried when I took him on my own! Good luck for next week Luke!

Good that you've escaped for another week! We were overdue for her second set and I asked today at the desk when I was in getting her weighed. Wasn't expecting "how does 10.30 sound?"! Poor thing is zonked, had to wake her up for her to get them.

Aw Daftscotslass, hope little Becky is ok this afternoon. xxx

Has our birthday twin boy had his yet hun? Met a girl (she was a couple of years above me at school) who also had a boy on the 13th who is now weighing in at 20lb! He was just under 12lb at birth! AND she's bf... he's amazing!

I just got it over and done with, was horrible! They give 3 injections in the 3rd set :(

Kaira got three injections today and it's only her first lot (we're 4 weeks behind) how many did everyone else get the first time?

The first time round we got 2 (1 - DTaP/IPV/Hib and 2 - Pneumococcal).

We have her 3rd lot in 2 weeks! 3 injections did someone say? Oh god. I cried at the last lot! She had 2 nurses that did both legs at the same time! I make OH take time off work to come with me!

I took Cally in for her last pneumochocal, only to find out I was a week early

Yeah Calleigh had her 3rd set of jabs today :( She cried  My poor baby.
Yep its three jabs. One in one leg then two which were administered at the same time in the other leg
Less than a minute later and all was forgotton :)
