Nipple discharge ?

Random question but has anyone started getting any nipple discharge yet or noticed any difference in their boobs??

I'm really hoping to breast feed (first child) and although my boobs have gone up a size due to weight gain and now larger/darker nipples, nothing else has changed!!
Sounds daft but I have a fear milk won't produce as soon as he's born for me to breast feed!!
How quick will things happen/change?? Lol xxx

yep, although I don't actually see any moisture. Just crusty brown puss looking stuff that I keep picking off. Apparently it's dried colostrum xx

In my previous pregnancies I never had discharge as such, only if I squeezed them I would get a clear (sometimes milky white) liquid out. Which I was amazed with and used to do every time I got changed LOL.

But it was definitely well in to the 3rd trimester. I'd say around 34 weeks +

Yes I've been getting clear fluid and white flakey bits was only a little bit from 20 weeks now I have a lot more and I'm 28 weeks tomorrow I will be a first time mum and hoping to breast feed/ pump x

My nipples have certainly got darker and larger. Every now and then it will feel like I'm leaking something but not enough to go through my bra. Theres been a couple of times where if I've squeezed then a milky white fluid would come out like MrsG81. I'm 31 weeks today x

I only seem to leak at night, but varies from a bit of dried crusted discharge around my nipples in the morning to a good sized soggy patch on the sheets! Think it's entirely normal not yo have anything though, and certainly won't reflect on your ability to BF once baby arrives x

I didn't have any discharge or anything throughout my pregnancy so I worried if I'd be able to breastfeed.

Baby is 4 weeks old tomorrow and all he's ever had is booby so don't stress. your body does all the work for you by releasing the right hormones to stimulate the colostrum to come in when the baby is born.

Ok I've been checking mine and not had anything, but I just read your post YG and thought I'd have a little squeeze and check- and I got some clear and milky droplets and didn't have to squeeze hard!!!! This makes me ridiculously excited!!!!

I never had any discharge when I was pregnant. I had a emergency c section , never had skin to skin with my baby and I wasn't allowed to breast feed her because she was in intensive care. My milk came in the day after, I collect the colostrum in surringes so the nurses could feed her. Emily is now 6 weeks old and I'm able to produce more than enough milk for her 2 hourly feeding. So don't worry after all I went through I'm sure you will be fine . X

Yes my nipples have gone extremely dark and occasionally I do leak a little bit of milk. I'm almost 27 weeks and first noticed it around 4 weeks ago. I don't get it everyday but I'm sure it will happen more as I get further along. This is my first baby and I'm hoping to breast feed and then express. I dreamt last night that I was feeding baby and this morning I'm discharging a tiny bit of milky white stuff xx

I get a drop or so if I squeeze! I'm another boob inspecting obsessive haha. It fascinates me how much my body is changing... OH tells me off for staring at myself in the mirror for ages when I get changed for bed.

Now you mention it mine might be slightly more on the left than centre (cue lift up top and check mirror). I had an op a few years ago and have a scar that runs deep into my belly button so its an odd shape anyway. If i get much bigger ill have an outie me thinks.

Another obsession of mine. Daily checks as to which sticks out further. Bump or boobs lol. Both get bigger by the day xx
