Anybody else suffering from night sweats?

I first thought it was my thyroid which I've been treated for. But they tested it and it is perfect.

I wonder what else could it be, it kinda worries me..

Theyre very normal in early pregnancy as body adjusting to hormones. I usually have them a few days before af due too. x

I was just going to post this very question. Mine are driving me INSANE :wall2:

How many weeks are you? I’m 5+5 and I’ve had them pretty much every night since I found out I was pregnant just over a week ago.

I have to change my clothes in the night as I’m drenched from head to toe and freezing cold. It’s getting me down as I’m convinced I’m going to have a miscarriage :(

same here, 6 weeks, every night since I found out
did you get your thyroid checked?

I thought I’d try another route before I got concerned, so I bought myself some 100% cotton pyjamas and started sleeping under a sheet rather than a duvet. It’s been successful so far! Two nights with no sweats whatsoever. I’m exactly 6 weeks today :)

Have yours improved any?

I'm in the same boat..
it's not letting me sleep at all

I still get them some nights and I'm 13wks xx

Oh and you get them again when your milk comes in a few days after you have the baby as well....

mine improved after week 6. maybe it was the shock of hormones I don't know but now I sleep like a baby. maybe too much lol:)

I've just posted this exact thread in tri 3.. :/ !! So maybe it's when the hormones peak or something.. I'm not ill or anything, it's very frustrating.

Sorry no answers or explanation! Going to ask at my consultant app next week. X

I'm suspicious it happens when my blood sugar increases. I don't have diabetes but sometimes elevated blood sugar (pre-diabetes) and from what I see, when I sweat at night, I test in the morning and it is a little higher those days

Maybe you should get that checked as well?

I’m still on and off with the sweats. There doesn’t seem to be any pattern to it which is annoying as I can’t take any preventative measures
