Nice weather we're havin'!

Whats the weather like for everyone? We're under about a foot of water in Derby, there is a massive thunder and lightning storm and its so dark it feels like its early evening.

You'd never beleive it was the middle of August would you?!

Well this morning was gorgeous, so i've got a skirt and flip flops on at work, but it's now absolutely pouring down with thnder and lightening! Glad i don't have to walk to the bus stop i that, i'd look a right twat!

With the thunder and lightning i hate it sooo much if i din't have kids in the house i would be hiding in bed!!!!!

Just got the power back on again after 2 hours of sitting in the dark!!!

DH said the main traffic lights at the big junction near me were out when he came home from work!

My mum was in Asda and the water started coming in through the door and the staff were in lines trying to push it out with brooms!!!

Well, I'm just about to leave work, and the rain has stopped, the puddles are still there though, and the sky is a little brighter - why can't the weather make its mind up!

Hope no-one gets soaked on their way home from work x
