New to the club... help!!!

Hi all,

I discovered in the early hours of this morning that I am indeed pregnant... the dates work out to 4 weeks pregnant according to all of these tracker things but my clear blue digi test said 2-3 weeks. Thanks to everybody who has offered me advice and support so far.

I told my BF today, unfortunately he is away due back in 10 days. We have only been together a very short time, but I do feel like i love him very much, and he feels the same. Although unexpected, he took it well. Obviously we need to talk about things when he is back but im 90% sure i know what we will do.

So anyway, being a complete newbie to this world, what do i do next?????

Congrats!

Make sure you're taking a folic acid tablet every day (they're very small and a whole pot is about £2) and in the next couple of weeks make an appointment to see your doctor who can give you more advice & make arrangements for you to see a midwife and for a 12-week scan.

Congratulations

I phoned the doctor and booked an appt, and was then referred by the doc on to the midwife.
I know they do it differently in different areas though.

Call ur GP surgery and speak to the receptionist and she'll be able to advise u what steps to take next x

i used one of thoses tests it dont mean ur 2 to 3 weeks its 2 to 3 weeks since conception and 4 to 5 weeks pregnant. mine said 1-2 which ment i was 3-4 weeks hope this helps??

Congratulations!
Like others said, get a prenatal vitamin and book yourself in with your gp and that'll help get you up to speed on what to expect. Just eat healthily and look after yourself
