Hi ladies I am new to these forums I am 23 weeks with a little girl after 7 early losses!

I thought I would introduce myself to you all :D

I have an anterior placenta and only feeling very slight movements anyone in the same boat?

Hiya and welcome!

So sorry o hear about your losses, but congratulations on your little one :)

I too have anterior placenta & only felt slight kicks until about 23 weeks ish, in the past 3 weeks they have been really strong and i can see and feel her moving lots so hopefully you will too :) x

Thanks hun!

Its just a bit weird as we never thought we would be here! Makes me slightly mad that everyone is like have you felt her move loads yet?

Oh yeah i got that alot, but she will let you know shes there when shes good and ready! Try laying flat on your back at night and be really still and patient, thats how i first started feeling mine.

Nowadays if i lay on my side, i can feel and see her alot too :)

So sorry for your losses but congratulations on your pregnancy!! I can't say I have any experience of anterior placenta, but I hope all goes well for you :) xx

Hello and welcome! And sorry for your losses xx
I don't know much about anterior placenta - the sonographer at my anomaly scan told me my placenta was on the back wall of my womb, I don't know if that's the same thing?

Actually, I think mine is the opposite - posterior placenta

Hi hon, I had an anterior placenta with my son and still felt him quite early and it proved no problem during labour as it moved with my bump's growth :)

i have a posterior this time and ive hardly felt baby move at all well not kicks just her moving arms and legs just moving them my baby is very lazy this time round amy was more active than this one lol she had a ueit week last week and would only move if i poked her or put something cold on my belly lol but now she moves a bit more lol i sometimes forget im pregnant lol as i dont really have a bump either lol i just look like ive put on a load of weight hehe :)

It's got me researching! Apparently you're more likely to feel kicks with a posterior placenta because the placenta isn't at the front to cushion the blows, so it's normal not to feel so many kicks with an anterior placenta xx
