I don't like her but I will admit she does do wonders with those children. Its shocking how badly behaved some of them are It always makes me laugh when they sit there going "I don't know why little Billy hits and swears at us" and then the next clip is of them shouting and swearing at little Billy then smacking him over and over again.

I love watching supernanny! out of interest does anyone know if she has children herself?

omg!!! did you see the way that mom just pushed the girl on the bed! and she wonders how her child came around to push and hit her?!?!

i must say this programme scares the shit out of me worried that i might do something wrong and my Jakob will end up like that, the show hits me much more now im expecting than it used to, nevertheless it always shocked me and im disgusted with the parenting and behaviour of the children i constantly see in this programme!

yeah when i say i love supernanny i actually mean the programme..not her! i just find the programme interesting and it shows me how not to behave with hayden (ie whacking him and shouting at him) you know like netto mothers..the ones you see in the supermarket shouting "GET HERE NOW, WAIT TILL I GET YOU HOME"

I love supernanny, i have succesfully used the put back to bed technique, only used it a few times and it only took about 10 goes to get her to stay in bed but everytime I would gently put her back and kiss her, not chuck her in like that woman was doing. 93 times is taking the piss though.

i love supernanny its a really good program last nights was so shockin! i had to watch them take a holiday on e4 i just couldnt believe she turned everythin around so well!!

i like the fact that she helps "just anyone" but i saw on the news that shes been helping britney spears and other celebrities which put me off her a bit but shes so funny to watch

But I find the theory behind a lot of the actual techniques interesting. She might just be a front for someone elses ideas but I find it effective. Any of the techniques I have used have been successfull.

 

Supernanny seems very effective, these poor parents are at a loss, and often need telling where they are going wrong too, not just the kids.

Just feel sorry for the kids, it's all played out for TV and to make that woman look good which is wrong. Fair enough the parents need help if they really can't cope, but I don't think exploiting the kids through a tv show is the answer.
