Just heard that SMA might be bringing out a milk for 1+ year olds called SMA 1 a day.

As far as I can tell, your lo only needs 1 carton a day to help meet nutritional requirements and can be used along side cows milk or formula.

Cost is around £3.30 for a pack of 6.

Sounds good to me and will be looking out for it. xxx

sorry hon, IMHO it sounds like another needless marketing ploy to keep people using formula i'm afraid.

if babies that age are on a balanced diet, then why would they need a formula that 'meets nutritional requirements'?

just my opinion of course

I'm with purple. Seems a bit pointless TBH. If, as said above, your LO has a balanced diet and you're not breastfeeding then cow's milk is fine. Bit of a rip off methinks.

I've not heard about it, though I still give Isaac a bottle of formula before bed, we use HiPP 10month+, I just think its better for him than cows milk, its not because his diet is bad, just gives me peace of mind :)

:talkhand: I'm counting down the days til I dont have to spend a fortune on formula!
