Hello..

I have recently joined this site..recommended by my sister who is currently trying.
I'm 27, recently married mum of two..7 and 3!
M husband and i are wanting to complete our family and both feel the time is right... or so we thought!.. since we stopped using condoms (back in Aug) We've noticed a dryness problem with myself its causing both of us problems..i've had blood tests..scans and the all clear was given on both but now the doctors have picked up Group B strep on a swab and given me antibiotics and estrogen cream to help my blood flow (to help the dryness)... While i am happy i'm getting treatment it means i have to hold off trying until my next check up in 8 weeks!

This makes me rather worried about the Group B strep....has anyone els got this?
I didnt know i had it with my first pregnancy/labour until after i delivered (all was fine)..second labour i was given antibiotics and so was my son at 6 hours old for 6 days due to infection..we was allowed home after a week..such a relief...

I am however worried about becoming pregnant again... i guess i will be high risk now??

I also have o - blood and with my last pregnancy i got gestational diabetes at 34 weeks!

I would like to hear from anyone with these conditions who have gone on to have more children

Thank you. Its also my 3rd. had cmplications with last preg tho and after preg x

Are you considered a High risk now?..I think i will speak to my consultant at my next check up and discuss all possible complications or i'l be a bag of nerves x

No i gotta see consultant but not really high risk. i had OC with last preg but atm my bloods aint showing anything so its ok. x

Oh right... I have heard of that, must be awful!.. The blood test brings relief though eh and not all pregnancies are the same so here's hoping you continue to have a happy one x

Oh..Was she in hospital due to your condition?x

No she had bronchitus x

Oh dear! was she a winter baby?..all went well i take it? ..still a shock as they are so small!x

Yea was her bday yesterday shes better now but was in hossie again couple weeks ago with bad chest. shes basically gonna get bad chest whever shes ill its goes straght to her chest x

Ahh birthday wishes! .. My Nephew has this problem also.. you have to watch for that first symptom don't you.. children are strong little things and seem to bounce right back x
