Just came in from the kitchen to find LO sitting on the sofa. So he can climb then!

Any advice on how to make sure doesn't hurt himself if he falls? He's currently Practising his new skill by trying to climb the coffee table!

I just watch Paige a bit closer but tbh you can't be there all the time so falls are going to happen.

Does he do the proud face once he's up? :)

Yep, proud ace, arms in the air, fonz-style "eyyyyyyyyy" :)

My lo has worked out how to climb on to it and slide off it! We need eyes everywhere now!

Haha yep mine too! Trying to scale the radiator is latest! U can't leave them for a min, upto everything and onto everything arghhh!!! My LO had quite a few little falls but I guess it's all learning xx

Tegan's also a climber, im scared because our sofa isn't against the wall & she keeps hanging over the back! climbing on the dining chairs is the favourite atm x

my Lo is everywhere sees boxes he tends to climb on them. he goes along the sofa luckily its against the wall but slides his on his tummy. Hes tried attempted table an chairs i just take him off it as i feel uneasy with him on them at the mo. He jumps on the sofa he pulls off my cushions plonks them on the floor and purposly puts his hands down to go on cushions! he stands on the stairgates now. Has opened my frdge :O. Attempts the stairs i take him down dont trust him that much lol. Tells me when hes pood by pulling on his trousers lol. I love that hes intrigued and learning new things :) x

They tend to bounce ;)

Jasper has had a few lessons in 'if you climb things, it can hurt' i mean he has never properly hurt himself obviously because i watch him but i dont prevent him from falling off stuff if its not on something sharp or from very high

I have also taught him how to climb up and down stairs (he is 16 months) and so he is happy on the stairs, we dont have stair gates or anything like that x
