New and 1st baby

Hello I am new on this site.
We have just had the great news that we are indeed expecting our first. We are delighted but I am still a little in shock. We will be getting the official first scan nxt week. I hope to meet new friends on here and talk through experiences as this is very new and I havn't told anyone yet! I also moved to France December last year and so the process her can be a little daunting and hard at times. I don't always understand the terms that they are using. Not sure I would in English either ( ha ha) I thought this would be a good way to learn what to expect during my pregnancy and there after. Look forward to talking to you soon.

Hey and thank you for the reply to my Post. I have to say that it is a bit strange as this is my first and I have very few experiences of babies in our family. I think it would be strange even in the UK but it is made harder when the doctor speaks to techy and I get a bit lost. Next echo this tuesday have my fingers crossed baby will be doing great. It would be interesting to read more about your experience in France as your pregnancy progresses. If/when I ever get my BFP I will be dealing with the health care system in a Scandinavian country (leaving a little information out for anonymity), which is pretty scary and exciting. Have you considered starting a pregnancy journal?

Wow surveyor that does sound exciting. I had not considered a blog no bu something to think about. Are you already living in a Scandinavian country? I wil keep you updates about the process here.
