Hi

I am ttc baby number 1 and am now on cycle 4 off the pill. AF is late (just spotting) so I've done a test but got a negative.

Thinking about using predictor kits but have been warned off them as heard they can become addictive and controlling.

Just looking for some advice on what you ladies think and how people get on with them?

Thank You xx

I tried using OPK strips for the first time this cycle and honestly I feel more relaxed about TTC than ever.

I started testing from CD8 as that is when they arrived in the post and I wanted to try them out as never had before.
I tested until I got a positive and then 2 more days after that. On the 2nd day after it was defo negative and I haven't felt the need to test since (CD18 now).

I don't know if it's too early for me to say as (it's only my first cycle on them) but I'm personally not feeling like they addictive or controlling. Everyone is different though.

I've also been TTC for over 2 years I don't think I would have considered them as early as 4 months of trying but again everyone is different.

Hope you get your BFP soon, good luck :)

I use opk's but only because I have PCOS and ov differently every month. They're very useful in you're unsure when you ov. Good luck, hope you get your BFP soon x
