I only have a vague idea how to make an omelette and have never made scrambled eggs!!!!!! (I'm 30!)
I hate eggs!!!! Not being able to make an omelette is not a dusgrace. Different people have different priorities in life and know how to cook/do other things to others. Thats what makes life interesting...that we're all different.
I make a wicked bean and lentil casserole!!!! And soup!

No one said it was a disgrace, she said that if SHE couldnt cook then SHE would be classed as a disgrace by HER mother because thats how she was brought up, She didnt say that Sarah was a disgrace for not being able to cook otherwise id tell her off

My speciallity is Bread and butter pudding and pancakes too ..i can cook an ommelette but alot of the time it turns out as scrambled egg because i dont put enough oil in the pan and it sticks lol...

I wasn't worried anyhow. I think sarah knows me well enough to know id tell her if i thought she was a disgrace not being able to cook. I wouldn't have gone about it in a round about way.

when i was 18 i was cooking sunday meals for my dad while my mum was away on holiday and stuff. I left home at 19 and cooked meals for friends etc.
The way i was brought up it would have been a disgrace for me not to have been able to make a simple meal.
What do you cook your little one Sarah? Does your mum cook all your meals ?

It was comparing herself to sarah basically! Like as she was that age she should know how to cook. Theres no need to be bitchy! I just said it sounded bad! Twisting what IM saying now!!

Exactly my point, we all have different opinions and ppl read thing differently as there is no tone of vioce etc.. it was what i was saying all along!
I didnt mean to start anything, but was just saying my point of view..
