as some know i still had my periods whilst being PG with Braydon and i just read a post from someone that got me a bit concerned and wondered if neone knew if as i had my periods during pregnancy if i could be suffering from PCOS and endometriosis?

this is the post so u dont all think i am crazy
you can still get periods and be pregnant - highly unlikely BUT my one of my OH's friends went in to hospital with suspected apensix problems and then came home with a baby. She didn't know she was pregnant and continued to have periods.
She later found out she had endometriosis and PCOS.

Im not 100% sure, but I have read somewhere that hormone inbalances can cause you to continue having periods, so it may be that PCOS Endio.....(sorry cant spell lol) can be a cause but so can other factors. If your concerned maybe go and have a chat with your doctor to get tested and put your mind at rest

Sorry I couldnt be more help

hi hun i would go and see your doc, even just for reassurance.

I was about 14/15 when my doc thought i might poss have it so had a scan to check my ovaries but was fine. I dont know a lot about it but if you want any other info let me know im not gonna go into all symp etc now.

im pretty sure that they would have noticed on previous scans if u had endo and pcos m plus it makes it very difficult to concieve with having either conditions ! no harm in asking mr doc tho /!

PSOS makes your periods stop or have very few. I have only a couple a year and very light, when I'm not pregnant and none when I am but have PSOS.

Hi, I made that post.
Oh's friend had very irregluar periods, and i think she knew she had endometriosis, she had stomach pains and they thought it was appendix problems, but when she was rushed in to hosp they found she was in labour, she didnt know.
She later found out that she had PCOS and thus was very lucky to have her little boy. She would have periods maybe 2x a month or none for a couple.

Bit of a shock!

i statred my periods wen i was 12 and there were regular 26th of every month then sine iv been 16 they have been so irregular its unbelievable
i think i am gonna go to the docs

might be best to get checked out. mine have never been regular and i often have 40 day cycles! very annoying!!

Yep one of my friends continued to have a period throughout her pregnancy (Actually she didnt even suspect she was pregnant but she noticed she was going to the toilet alot and thot she was diabetic, when dr did a urine test he noticed she was pregnant at 8 months!!!) But as Glitzyglam girl says she was also told that it happens to a lot of girls and that it was hormone imbalances
